Cisco SMARTnet
Maintenance Service contracts provides for minimal to full
support services directly from Cisco Systems. The SMARTnet
contract provides hardware replacement services, access to Cisco
support engineers and access to software maintenance upgrades.
Service terms vary with contract levels and may offer
replacement services, 24 x 7 accesses to Cisco TAC support
services and full software maintenance and upgrade access for
all covered Cisco Components.
To assist you in the establishment and
management of your Cisco SMARTnet contracts will be a Digital
Dimension Account Manager with Cisco Certifications that may
include: CPSE, CCDA and CCNA. Contract management
issues that you may expect assistance on may include:

reliability and a more stable and reliable internal network for
you to manage.
How to choose the
right service options?
Most clients choose the following:
SNT : 8x5xNBD(Next Business Day)
SNTP : 24x7x4
In an effort to cut
costs, organizations have been evaluating service level options
more carefully. As a general rule, Digital Dimension
recommends the following:
CORE HARDWARE : SNTP
EDGE HARDWARE : SNT

How do I request a quote?
Pricing is simple with Digital
Dimension
In order to receive the
most accurate quote along with the BEST possible pricing, simply
provide your Digital Dimension Account Manager with the serial
numbers of your Cisco hardware components that you wish to
receive coverage on. From those
serial numbers, we will be able to determine which hardware is
currently under contract, correct discrepancies, co-term and pro-rate each unit to a specific
date. If your Cisco hardware is currently under contract,
you may choose any renewal date you like, however, if a contract
does not exist, you may only request a minimum of a one year
contract.
Accurate serial numbers
are the key to quick renewals. They also provide us with
the opportunities to pro-rate contracts to save you more.
How
will I know when my contract expires?
Digital Dimension will contact you
30-60 days prior to expiration
Digital Dimension
will contact your organization 30-60 days prior to the
expiration date of your contract. This will allow for
adequate time to keep your hardware covered and under contract.
